Hemp Wristbands

Hemp is one of the oldest materials ever used by human, and it is also the eco-friendliest of our material options. It is rustic in its appearance, but comfortable to wear, and similar to cotton in its qualities.

The hemp plant grows naturally without pesticides and thanks to its dense growth it requires no herbicides either. The fibers are separated from the stems by a process called retting, which employs moisture and naturally occurring bacteria to dissolve the cellular tissues. The fibers are then cleaned and spun into thread mechanically in a process that requires no chemicals.

Combined with a wooden smart tag, you can have a completely plastic-free wristband with full RFID capabilities.

The ends of the wristband should not be cut once the lock is tightened, as the material de-threads easily and the ends cannot be melted.

Size: 15 mm x 350 mm or 20 mm x 350 mm, for custom sizes please enquire.
